Underground Shows

There's been a violet cabaret circuit as long as there's been a cabaret circuit, and it's usually making more money. Blue cabaret gets suggestive and raunchy, while violet gets down and dirty. I'm not talking "live sex shows" and pole-dancers, but elegant supper-clubs where the entertainment is people having sex, sometimes with audience participation. There isn't a single one of these clubs that could go legitimate, as their wealthy clientele has always demanded extreme acts, usually illegal.

My mother was a performer on the violet circuit, as was I. I did all the standard "young" routines - "Fairy Tale Theatre" and "Little Girl Lost"and "Daddy Darling" and "Shirley Temple's Spanking" - as well as other routines written for special audiences like "The Nice Puppy" and "Girl Scout Jamboree". As I got older I did more adult fare, especially "Bondage Betty" and "Behind the Green Door" (everyone knows this bit - girl pretends to be drugged and gets gang-banged on stage). Before I quit, I was dong mature material like "Mama Knows Best", "Naughty Teacher", and "Policewoman's Cuffs".

I retired to raise my kids. My son had already been performing several years but I took him out to give him a normal life. As normal as possible - I still laugh sometimes when I recognize some politician ranting about "Family Values" when I remember seeing him walk out of an audience drop his pants and mount someone on a violet stage.
