keeping it in my family

15 years ago, my parents got divorced because my father had numerous affairs on my mom, even while she was pregnant with my younger brother. I hated my dad for years for tearing our family apart and having to watch my mother go through the pain and suffering of raising two young children on her own was life changing.

When I was 12, I swore to myself that I would never hurt someone the way my father hurt my mother. Now that I'm an adult I have realized that I have not stayed faithful in one relationship I have been in. I have turned into the exact person I used to hate.
