I wish I had been born to sane parents.

I wish I had been born to sane parents. the one's that gave a crap about RAISING kids not just slapping each other around. If my mom had put as much energy into raising my sister and I as she did into having boyfriends and getting married....I wonder where we both could have been right now. I've made so may bad mistakes trying to find my way through life because I just wasn't important enough to warrant any parental guidance. I resent it. I couldn't imagine bringing my sons into this world and then saying 'Ok- find your own way- I have to go find a man!' It's bullshit. Men come and go- yet your kids are always there. You shouldn't have kids if you have no intention of giving them any kind of lifeskills to protect themselves with. Obviously neither of my parents had any to give. I wish they had never mated.
